Once again, this year, MINDA actively participated in the job exploration program organized by the German organization KAoA (Kein Abschluss ohne Anschluss: No degree without a job prospect) and welcomed a total of 45 eighth-grade students to its Minden location. The opportunities were offered through the job exploration program of the district Minden-Lübbecke via the beAzubi platform.
On several occasions between February and May, the young people could take a look behind the scenes at our company from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. This allowed them to become familiar with various departments and gain their first hands-on experience. The focus was on mechanical and electrical manufacturing, design, and administration.
In each department, the participants got a real insight into day-to-day work, asked questions, and got hands-on experience. This provided an authentic glimpse into the wide range of activities and training opportunities at MINDA. Job exploration helps young people discover their own strengths and interests and gain an initial sense of direction for their professional future.
Special thanks to all our colleagues, trainees, and trainers who helped prepare and support this initiative. Through their commitment, they make an important contribution to young people’s occupational orientation and help them experience MINDA as an employer.
Together, we invest in the professionals of tomorrow and present the wide range of career opportunities at MINDA. Many thanks to everyone involved for their participation!
